This assignment involved making a brief case for a NEH Preservation Assistance Grant for a collection held in California. I no longer remember if we picked the collections from a list or if we were addressing current/past issues, but I ended up writing about the Charles H. Babb collection and focused on its rehousing. It was a great exercise in finding information about a real collection and it was enjoyable to research something in another state.
